market

Florida medical-cannabis launch and subsequent Aphria rebrand

Building trust for a new category of compassionate care.

The challenge

CHT Medical entered a highly regulated and rapidly changing market as one of Florida’s first approved medical-cannabis providers. The brand needed to explain unfamiliar products, support physicians and patients, satisfy detailed production requirements and establish immediate credibility.

The approach

Keri developed an integrated visual and information system spanning launch materials, patient and physician education, packaging, digital graphics, advertising and event displays. When new ownership introduced the Aphria brand, she was re-engaged to translate the system across updated packaging, sales materials, menus and product communications—preserving clarity while supporting expansion.

Outcome + legacy

A flexible, market-ready design system that supported CHT Medical’s launch, strengthened its position for expansion and carried forward through acquisition and rebranding—demonstrating how clear design can build confidence in an emerging healthcare category.
